After 40 years apart, old Milkweed band mates James Connell and Reid Spencer reunited to form the James Reid Band, combining their songwriting talents to produce "Breakfast at Sunset." Former Milkweed members Mat Kastner and John Daniel also lent their formidable chops to the album, as did multi-instrumentalist Martin Lund. The album was recorded in July at Bredouw's Barn on Orcas Island, Wash.
